Healing Journeys

I believe healing is a return to one’s own centre, a remembering rather than a correction. My work is rooted in integrity, presence, and a deep respect for the body’s wisdom.

I hold space for the parts of you that feel lost, overwhelmed or silenced, without fear or judgement. I am comfortable in the dark places and I trust your innate capacity to move toward wholeness when given compassion, steadiness, and room to breathe.

Shamanic Dance

Power from within.

What’s shamanic dance

The term “shaman” comes from shamàn in the Tungus language of Siberia, describing a person who mediates between humans and the spirit world. Through rhythmic drumming or rattles, the shaman enters an ecstatic state to access unseen realms and seek guidance or healing.

This practice dates back to humanity’s earliest origins and appears across cultures with striking similarities, from Siberia and the Arctic, to Native American traditions, the Amazon, Africa, Aboriginal Australia and Indonesia.

What it’s like to dance shamanically

Shamanic traditions have long used dance to enter trance-like, meditative states: a deep no‑mind experience. In the modern Western world, this spiritual approach to movement has evolved into a transcultural phenomenon, seen in practices like ecstatic dance, reflecting its enduring power.

Rooted in shamanic culture, these dances are introspective, liberating, and built on repetitive, circular movements that use body weight in a distinctive way, creating a profoundly freeing experience.

Practice with me

This isn’t therapy, it’s guided self-therapy. The sessions guide you through a structured journey combining history, meditative practice, and embodied technique. You’ll explore altered states of consciousness, the role of music and silence, and engage in psychophysical warm‑ups that prepare the body for shamanic movement.

We work with circular and axial motion, breath, centre of gravity, imbalance and re‑centering, as well as gaze, space, contact and near‑contact. Voice is integrated with movement, and you’ll learn how to shape and present a performance. Throughout, the focus remains on shamanic dance as a pathway to healing and self‑healing.
